Health care is another right Americans have given away to corporate interest. This right was given away to the insurance industry. So many mistakenly think the Affordable Health Care Bill affords them healthcare. It does not. It hands our health over to the insurance industry. The insurance industry is part of the financial industry. Like Wall Street investment firms it skims off our hard earned money while not rendering the service sought. Hospitals, doctors, nurses, physical therapist… render health care. Yet these financial institutions take a percentage of our payments to healthcare providers for their own gain. They do not render healthcare. Why are they involved? By committing the capitalistic procedure of approving or denying payment, controlling hospital stays, they are practicing medicine with no education, training or degree. Thanks to the current administration, we are now mandated to given our healthcare over to the greed and profits of the insurance companies. This is capitalism at its finest
The irony of it all is that it was an American president that implemented single payer (national) healthcare post WWII reconstruction. Yet he was prevented from giving the same to his own people by the insurance industry.
The Affordable Health Care Bill was written for the Senate by the insurance industry in part through its lobbyists. Health insurance companies have recently raised their rates by double digits. This is a capitalistic way of getting around the limits of the 80% requirement to spend of premiums on patient care. 20% of hirer premium rates increases their profits while the insured pay more and more. Premiums rise at rapid rates to increase the amount 20%. Healthcare is not affordable and often not rendered in this country insurance or no insurance.
Healthcare is human right Americans cannot afford as it is taken away by capitalism’s goal of profit
