This could very well be a headline from before the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's.  It is new form or lynching that gets its victims very early.  Once these children have a label of criminal pinned of them they are prisoners for life.  They will not be able to obtain employment other than illegal employment.  There will be discouragement and dispair.  We are a nation that cannot feed our children, cannot educate our children, cannot give them proper health care (not the same as health insurance), cannot provide ample employment for their parents but, we can take them out of the education environment and incarcerate them. 

Our children face an enemy of incompetent adults.  We allow the greed of the prison complex to spill over on to our children.
